Under the guidance of Sesame Street artists, Louis Henry Mitchell and Barry Goldberg, your kids can learn the basics of how Sesame Street characters are brought to life! Through drawing and sidewalk chalk sketches, this workshop will introduce drawing fundamentals and help fine-tune techniques with fun, educational sessions.
Workshop Overview
Designed for all ages, this Beaches workshop provides guests with the building blocks of drawing and sketching, while exploring creative art techniques. These designers will give you an insider’s look of what it’s like to be a Sesame Street artist and help guests discover the tools to develop and inspire creative art abilities. Plus, guests will receive professional sand sculpting tips and techniques from the artists when they take to the beach to sculpt 3D sand art of beloved Sesame Street characters!
A mixture of traditional drawing tutorials, drawing techniques and some methods for transforming and preparing characters for the screen, this workshop incorporates useful tips, character sketching, shapes, perspective and much more! Each workshop is followed by a Q&A session. In addition to this workshop, this fall, enjoy various Sesame Street activities and presentations, including Exploring the Moon With Elmo and Discovery Dome, as well as the Fall-O-Ween Stage Show.
As your kids enjoy exploring their creative side during this workshop, thisability will serve them well. Learning from some of the best artists in the industry will be a unique experience for the whole family to enjoy together!
