This past June you may remember that our Teen Advisory Panelists embarked on an exclusive journey to Beaches Turks & Caicos on behalf of all the Beaches Teens out there. For those who could not make the June trip, we welcomed a second group of panelists to Beaches from July 31 – August 4. Sisters’ duo, Alexa & Kali from Canada, Ethan from The UK and Caroline from New York, rounded out their summer by stepping up their TAP duties and traveling to paradise for a comprehensive site inspection and exclusive Beaches teen experience.

Our #BeachesTeens were given a crash course in everything Beaches from the luxurious rooms, restaurants and watersports to the Xbox Play Lounge and Club Liquid. They even created their own fun bonding over a beach bonfire and karaoke.

 In fact, this lucky group had a very special surprise guest. Professional teen singer, Cailee Rae, flew to Turks to see what all the fuss was about. And of course, Beaches did not disappoint. With some persuasion from Alexa, Kali, Ethan and Caroline, Cailee wowed everyone with her incredible voice at the beach bonfire and even got them to sing along to a few songs, one of which included Taylor Swift’s “Blank Space”.  

And as if that wasn’t enough, they also went on an Island Routes Teen & Tween Catamaran cruise and went to the Red Lane ® Spa for some relaxation courtesy of the GingerLily spa menu.

We know… sounds like they were living life, and they were but behind all the fun and games was some real in-depth analysis! Like the first group who visited in June, this dynamic group of teens and tweens were charged with an intense brainstorming meeting on ways that Beaches can make the vacation experience more amazing, specifically for  tweens and teens.

One of the most impressive takeaways was their love for the Sandals Foundation. While the immersion trip was non-stop fun and a great way to get to know each other, all four panelists agreed that the most memorable part of the trip was giving back to the local environment by planting mangroves to help protect the beautiful shorelines of Turks & Caicos.
