Sandals Resorts and Beaches Resorts have been recognized in the 2026 Travel Weekly Magellan Awards, earning seven Gold and two Silver honors across a diverse range of hospitality and marketing categories. The wins reflect the brands’ continued commitment to creating meaningful all-inclusive Caribbean vacation experiences while finding new ways to engage guests, partners and the island communities they call home.
The 2026 honors span the breadth of Sandals’ and Beaches’ efforts, recognizing standout resort experiences at Sandals Dunn’s River in Jamaica and Beaches Turks and Caicos, home to the newly opened Treasure Beach Village; creative programs including The Elf on the Shelf® at Beaches Resorts, which brings immersive holiday celebrations inspired by the beloved tradition to the Caribbean; the Sandals Palmcast, a travel-focused podcast sharing the latest news and stories from Sandals and Beaches; and “DIVE,” a cinematic commercial showcasing the deeper connection between travelers and the destinations where Sandals and Beaches operate.
The honors also recognize Aisle to Isle Destination Weddings by Sandals and Beaches; the newly reimagined Island Insiders Club loyalty program, offering enhanced perks and member experiences; and the Sandals Elite Advisor Program, which provides enhanced support and resources for Sandals and Beaches travel advisors. Rounding out the honors is the Sandals Foundation’s Future Goals, which combines football, education and sustainability to empower young people in Curaçao while transforming plastic waste into soccer goals for local schools.
