Beaches makes waves on Periscope with CEO’s wakeboarding skills

Like leading candidates in the current Democratic and Republican presidential fields, Beaches Resorts’ CEO Adam Stewart offered a live, inside look into his world for consumers around the world via one of social media’s newest platforms: Periscope. Highlighting the resort brand’s award-winning watersports program, Beaches Resorts broadcasted Stewart wake boarding live from Beaches Negril Resort & Spa via the resort’s recently launched Periscope channel this past weekend. From three live streams, the event generated 907 viewers, 139 replays, 750 hours watched and plenty of nods to the CEO for his serious wakeboarding skills.

Operating the largest watersports program in the Caribbean, guests can take the plunge with unlimited activities, such as sailing, kayaking, glass-bottom boat tours, water-skiing, snorkeling, scuba diving and paddle boarding through the resorts’ Aqua Centers.

Popular with millennials and avid news and content seekers, Periscope is a live video streaming platform with millions of viewers worldwide. For those fans who missed the live event, not to worry. The CEO's surf skills will live on through a soon-to-be published online video that will recap all the killer twists, turns, flips and possibly a wipe out or two.  To watch more exciting broadcasts on Periscope form the brand, follow @BeachesResorts and @AdamStewart.
